Q: Wait, so what is this?
A: Exciting news! I'm now offering studio hours for all (or most) of your data visualization needs. These
as-needed appointments are a quick way for you receive expert guidance and consultation on your
visualization
projects. From early-stage sketches to the finishing touches on a presentation, we can level up your data
visualizations in ways that you can reproduce and maintain.

Q: What can we work on in Studio Hours? A: The world is your oyster! We can start at any stage of your visualization project: Ideation, sketching, polishing, presenting— it's up to you. If your idea involves visualization, we can make it better. Here are a few scenarios that we could address together:
- You have some great data but aren't sure how to show it with visualization.
- You've started building a dashboard but aren't happy with the flow or color palette.
- Your customers gave you feedback that your visualizations are confusing or hard to use.
Q: Can you help me more skillfully present my visualizations to others?
A: Totally. In fact, working through a presentation is one of the best ways to refine a visualization. We can work on the presentations deliverable itself, like a PowerPoint or other deck, or on your spoken delivery. Of course, we'll also make sure that the visualizations are tailored to your audience and presentation style.
Q: Is this technical support?
A: Yes and no. If you are looking for detailed debugging or real-time development work on, say, a dashboard or tool, then this won't be the right resource for you. However, this is the perfect time to get coaching on the designs of your visualization concepts.
Q: Are you available for development work, too?
A: If your project could benefit from offline drafing or mockup work, we can chat about that, too! I'm happy to connect you with other developers in my network if you are looking for larger-scale development or contract work.
Q: What currencies do you accept?
A: I take USD (US Dollars), BTC, and ETH. Please let me know how you plan to pay so that I can send you the approriate invoice. All payment must be made in equivalent USD at the time of the appointment.
Q: Do you have a cancellation policy?
A: Life happens, but please try to cancel at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations are subject to 50% invoicing.
Q: Can I bring a friend?
A: Sure! You're welcome to bring anyone from your team.
